Travis is a 1999 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Superior. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration concentrating in Finance. In August of 1999 Travis began his insurance career with Reliable Agency. Travis manages Reliable Agency’s benefits department and takes great pleasure in assisting our individual and commercial clients with everything from health and dental insurance to life insurance and annuities. Travis was our region’s chair with the Minnesota Insurance Agents & Brokers Association (MIIAB) Board of Directors from 2005 – 2011. In 2007 Travis was awarded the Young Agent of the year award from the MIIAB. In 2008 he was part of a committee that received that same award. In 2012 he was recognized by the Duluth News Tribune with their 20 under 40 award. In September of 2007 Travis obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation.
Travis also remains active in the Cloquet Area Chamber of Commerce, Cloquet Rotary and his Church Board. As a professional Travis enjoys spending time talking with his clients about their insurance needs and helping them understand the policies they have.
Travis has lived his whole life in the Cloquet Area and loves Northern Minnesota. In September of 2000, he married his best friend Laura. They have since been blessed with two boys. Travis spends his free time staying active with his family, fishing, hunting, trap shooting, bowling, camping, and trail running and traveling.
