Travis graduated in 1999 from the University of Wisconsin–Superior with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. His concentration was in Finance, giving him a strong foundation for his future career in insurance and benefits. In August 1999, Travis began his insurance career with Reliable Agency and quickly established himself in the field. He now manages Reliable Agency’s benefits department and enjoys assisting clients with health, dental, life insurance, and annuities.

From 2005 to 2011, Travis served as our region’s chair with the Minnesota Insurance Agents & Brokers Association Board – BIG i MN. In 2007, he received the Young Agent of the Year award from the Minnesota Insurance Agents & Brokers Association. The following year, he contributed to a committee that also earned the Young Agent of the Year award. In 2012, the Duluth News Tribune honored Travis with their prestigious 20 Under 40 award for community leadership. In September 2007, Travis achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation, reflecting his expertise and commitment.

Travis remains active with the Cloquet Area Chamber of Commerce, Cloquet Rotary, and his Church Board.
He enjoys conversations with clients about their insurance needs and helping them understand the policies they hold.

A lifelong Cloquet resident, Travis loves Northern Minnesota and the community he has always called home.
He married his wife and best friend, Laura, in September 2000, beginning their life together.
They have been blessed with two boys, who remain a central joy in their lives.
Outside of work, Travis spends his free time staying active with his family in the Northland.
