Kara grew up in Embarrass, MN and moved to Wrenshall in 2016 after pursuing a Pre-Vet Large animal degree at the University of Wisconsin River Falls. She completed her Life & Health license when she started at Reliable in June of 2019 and her Property and Casualty license in February of 2020. When Kara and her husband, Jim, are not working on the family farm, they enjoy training horses and competing across the northern states in barrel racing and team roping competitions. They welcomed their first child, Payden, in spring of 2022 and cannot wait to watch him grow up on the farm. Kara’s favorite part of her job is helping clients find an insurance plan that fits their lifestyle while providing them piece of mind.
